Sarah Palin For Desperate Housewives Role?

Former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is being pursued for a Desperate Housewives cameo, reports Thelondonpaper.

Hollywood PR agent Hal Lifson insists that Housewives creator Marc Cherry, is “hot to trot” to have Palin appear in the finale of the hit show’s fifth season. He went on to say:

“Marc is highly enamoured of Sarah and sees her as the ultimate guest star.

“The idea has gone over surprisingly well with execs at Disney, who see it as a blockbuster based on Sarah’s huge ratings on Saturday Night Live.”

Power-dressing Palin has previously been compared to perfectionist Housewives character Bree Van de Kamp.

Marc Cherry himself has so far declined to comment, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this actually happens…
